UNIX programming can be very expensive because it is a program that is for people who make their own programs and not for business that rely on software programs. Because UNIX programming is one of the older ones, has never been redesigned, problems occur and this is a major fault. Another fault is lack of security in UNIX. It is also not very user-friendly and you need to be quite familiar with computers to use and understand UNIX.
With the positive outweighing the negative, technologists remain faithful to UNIX programming because of its dependability and durability. While hundreds of other programs come and go, UNIX continuously goes strong.
