If you intend to attend one of the many online computer science schools, you should look for many of the same traits as you would with a brick and mortar school. Just remember that you may be largely responsible for monitoring your own progress through the lessons and you may need to purchase the equipment and software for yourself – which shouldn’t be a problem since you plan to enter the field and may likely need the equipment anyway.
